The most common mistakes when writing an essay

Poor check. Checking the essay, you need to pay attention not only to spelling errors, but also ambiguous expressions, unsuccessful speech turns, unnecessarily sharp phrases. Work should be re-read several times, identify all possible flaws and eliminate them.
Long prefaces and lack of details. It is not uncommon for good and interesting essays to be tedious introductory parts that do not inflame the reader’s interest, but put it to sleep, or complete lists of any statements without proper illustrations in the form of examples and interesting facts. We need to strive to ensure that the introduction was small, but bright and clear, and any statements and thoughts were accompanied by vivid examples.
Long phrases. Many authors believe that long sentences are good. But this is not the case. Short sentences have a much greater effect on the reader, and long ones can only overload the material and complicate perception. Therefore, it is recommended to alternate long and short sentences. When checking out, read your work out loud and if you feel that on some sentence you do not have enough breath to finish it, break it into several smaller ones.
Verbosity. The specificity of the essay is that it is limited to a certain amount. And some authors fail to fully disclose the topic due to the fact that they go into excessive detail and details of individual moments. For this reason, the volume must be disposed of skillfully and competently, initially discarding some ideas, thoughts and details, if they are already mentioned in the course of the narration.
Congestion. Essays should not be overloaded with scientific terms and encyclopedic data, because this not only distracts the reader’s attention from the main topic, but also adversely affects the quality of the entire work, and also diminishes its value and overshadows the expression of the author’s position.
Pay attention to these errors and avoid them. Check your work for several times, change and, if necessary, rewrite, cut off unnecessary parts and supplement with new elements – only so your essay can become a really interesting, well-written and high-quality work.
